What is Neck Pain or Cervical Pain

Neck pain refers to pain in or around your neck. The spine in neck region is medically known as cervical spine, hence neck pain also commonly known as cervical pain. Neck pain is a symptom which can arise from varied pathologies. Neck pain can be limited to neck only, known as axial neck pain or sometimes pain also radiates to shoulders or arms. It can be acute (lasting a few days to a few weeks) or chronic (lasting more than three months).
